Our young biologists recently conducted an exciting hands-on activity — making and observing slides of animal and plant cells! Using onion peels and cheek swabs, students carefully prepared microscope slides, stained the cells, and observed them under a light microscope.
They were thrilled to spot key cell structures like the nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane, and cell wall — bringing textbook concepts to life right before their eyes.
This practical not only strengthened their understanding of cell structure but also honed their microscopy and observation skills. A fantastic step forward in developing scientific thinking and curiosity! 🌱🧬
